Chris Fadely is the Principal Architect at CKF Architecture. As a 9th generation Bahamian, Chris has an exceptional eye and wealth of experience with coastal architecture. He has worked with clients on many projects with stringent coastal floodplain and permitting requirements throughout the Bahamian islands and on the coast of Florida. He believes that each project is an opportunity to pragmatically respond to local site, environmental, and climate conditions. Chris uses a “results-based” approach to work with clients from “pen on paper” to “key in the door”. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Kentucky and his Master of Architecture from the University of Florida. He holds an active Professional Florida Architect License, an active professional Bahamas Architect License, a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certification and is a professional member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). When Chris is not in the office, he can be found fishing or diving in the beautiful Bahamian waters.

Linzie Fadely is the Lead Interior Designer at CKF Architecture. With an excellent eye for coastal interior design, Linzie has experience working with clients throughout the Bahamas and in residences all over the United States. Her exceptional social skills help her to communicate with clients as well as listen to them and their needs in order to provide creative solutions for their design problems. Linzie graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She also holds an active Florida Interior Designer License and a National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certification. When she is not designing she can be found boating with her family throughout the Bahamian islands.
THE PROCESS
INITIAL CONSULTATION
The CKF Architecture team and client will meet to discuss needs and overall goals for the project.
SITE ANALYSIS
The architect will visit the site where the structure is to be built or renovated. Each site and its surroundings are unique; it’s important that the design is a response to the individual site.
DRAWINGS
The architect will listen to the desires of the client work closely with them to create the required and necessary documentation in order to acquire an approval from the authority having jurisdiction so the project can be constructed.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
The architect will oversee the construction process. The architect has the best interest of the client in mind and will be the “go-to” contact for any questions that may arise during construction.
